PARENT's WEEKLY UPDATE April 24-28th
by Carol DeFehr - Saturday, 22 April 2017, 10:30 AM

Hi Parents,

Here are the updates for the upcoming week at Westmount and a sneak peak at the first week of May as well.

SOME IMPORTANT UPDATES:

*THANK YOU! 69% of parents as of Saturday morning had completed the MINISTRY STUDENT LEARNING SURVEY ON LINE. Please please....if you have not had a chance to complete it as per the other emails and newsletter that were sent please try to do this before Friday April 28th. My goal is 100%- I know we can do it!

*CLASS PHOTOS HAVE BEEN CHANGED from APRIL 26 to MAY 11. We have 60 children out of the school on Wed. April 26 so it didn't make much sense to have photo day. Thanks for your understanding of the switch.

*PAC HOT LUNCH ORDERS are now available ONLINE at hotlunches.net or you can pick up a paper copy at the office. ORDERS ARE DUE MAY 2 by noon.

*JUMP ROPE FOR HEART CAMPAIGN- THANK YOU! Keep the pledges coming so we can donate to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. I have challenged the children to raise $500 more than their goal of $1000 and if they get there I have to wear a lovely costume for the day.

*REMINDER- NO SCHOOL ON MONDAY APRIL 24 for students. This is a DISTRICT NON INSTRUCTIONAL DAY where teachers are in learning sessions for the day across the district. These professional development days assist teachers in staying current with best practice and rethinking their pedagogy.

*PINK PARENT INPUT FORMS for class placement for 2017-2018 due to the office by MAY 19th.
